The consulting bureau was founded in 2005 by Dmitry Mikhailov, a certified auditor and expert in tax planning and tax litigation. Dmitry began his career as an auditor and tax consultant in 1990 at Inaudit, the first audit organization in the Soviet Union. In 1991 Dmitry was the deputy general director of Inaudit’s representative office in Leningrad. Between 1992 and 2009 Dmitry worked as a partner, general director, and chairman of the board of directors of the auditing company ALCO. From 2002–2004 he was a partner at Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners, and since 2006 he has been a tax consultant at another law firm, Ivanian & Partners. Dmitry Mikhailov has been involved in public sector projects such as the construction of sewage treatment facilities in South-West of Saint Petersburg and the reconstruction of the Saint Petersburg metro line between Lesnaya and Ploshchad Muzhestva stations.

Dmitry Mikhailov’s bureau provides its clients with accounting, audit, and tax services in various industry sectors: mining and mineral processing, the chemicals industry, non-ferrous metals, machinery manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, construction, the banking sector, investments, import and export, and other businesses. The bureau’s clients include businesses backed by foreign investment and foreign organizations.

The bureau’s biggest projects in terms of accounting are bookkeeping for the general contractors in charge of the construction of the new airport terminal at Pulkovo, and the construction of the Western High-Speed Diameter.

In terms of audit, the bureau’s biggest clients are Power Machines (tax audit) and foreign companies the Hansa Group and Aller Petfood.
